CARPAGE Musicianship. Tight as a drum and a new bass player that propels MUO too new heights. A full length LP is the next step for these Scots. The bass playing on Presentiment, and the guitar interplay are stellar, drumming is tight all over this EP, and propels it forward. Favorite track: II - Presentiment.

about

‘Man Is Not’ is the title of our second EP. This body of music is a conceptually written piece that delves into the world of human duality and mental illness. To keep this short, we have worked tirelessly for over a year to write the best music we could. It’s very close to our hearts and painfully exposing to give away to you all, but we want you to hear what we’ve created.

The incredible artwork was made by Coll Hamilton; a stunning creative you should all get to know. Tracking was done by Goonzi (Bleed From Within), who pushed us all to get the best from our playing. Mixing and mastering was carried out by Nick Scholey and Rob Mackie (Fonik). It's hard to find people that care as much as they do about music, they are brilliant. Lastly, Arran Christie (Akord) let us borrow his beautiful guitar and helped us massively in the mixing process (he even played guitar on one track). He's a dear friend of ours and we always appreciate his input.

We hope you can see/hear the layers that we’ve made throughout this record. From the artwork, themes and general conceptual creation, there is a great deal of craft that has gone into our second EP.
